The project is a highlight of the 2025 Lotus Village Festival, on the occasion of the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025). The statue is 12.5 m high, weighs 6 tons, and is made of hydraulically pressed bronze. The statue faces North, with a lotus pond in front and a mountain model behind it symbolizing the landscape of the homeland. The work was built based on the original photo of President Ho Chi Minh visiting his homeland for the second time in 1961. This is a gift from the Ministry of Public Security to the Party Committee, government and people of Nghe An province.
