On September 21, the Dak Lak Department of Health said that the Department of Health Inspectorate had worked with Buon Ma Thuot General Hospital on the case of a patient who died at a private clinic in the city. The patient was confirmed dead before being taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.
According to medical records, at around 2:00 p.m. on September 20, Buon Ma Thuot University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital received patient YHN (42 years old, residing in Ea Kenh commune, Krong Pak district, Dak Lak province) in a comatose state, negative light reflex, purple fingertips, cold hands and feet, no pulse, no heartbeat... Doctors diagnosed the patient as having died outside the hospital.
Mr. Vo Minh Thanh, Director of Buon Ma Thuot Medical Hospital, said that the patient was brought in for emergency treatment by a doctor and medical staff from Dak Lak General Clinic. Because there were no relatives, the hospital kept the body and reported to the Dak Lak Provincial Health Department and Buon Ma Thuot City Police to clarify the cause of death according to regulations.
It is known that Dak Lak General Clinic belongs to Dak Lak Medical Services LLC, with Mr. Nguyen Duc Thinh as director. Speaking by phone, Mr. Nguyen Duc Thinh said that he is currently on a business trip so he cannot provide information about the incident.
