Seized 80 red books in the case of Ngan 98 producing counterfeit goods

QNgTV- Continuing to investigate and clarify the case of "Production and trading of fake food products" by Vo Thi Ngoc Ngan (commonly known as Ngan 98). The Ho Chi Minh City Police Investigation Agency searched the residence of Vo Thi Ngoc Ngan and seized a safe containing many assets related to the case.

During the search, the authorities discovered a large safe, but Ngan and her relatives could not provide the code to open the safe. The police investigation agency sealed the safe and brought it to the headquarters to unlock it in accordance with the law.

As a result, the investigation agency seized 80 red books, more than 8,000 USD, 4 bank savings books and many related evidences. In addition, the police temporarily detained 2 cars to serve the investigation and verify the origin of the assets.

Previously, during the investigation, Vo Thi Ngoc Ngan repeatedly delayed and did not comply with the summons of the authorities. When brought back to work, Ngan resisted, gave evasive statements, and blamed others to avoid responsibility.

However, evidence such as cash flow, production contracts, delivery data and employee statements all identified Ngan as the mastermind, operating the entire counterfeit goods production and trading operation.

Currently, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Investigation Agency is continuing to expand the investigation, clarify and prove the origin of the above-mentioned seized assets.
