Ship docks at Chan May Port taking tourists to Hue

Currently, Chan May Port has become an important destination for cruise ships thanks to its strategic location and upgraded infrastructure. The port is capable of receiving large cruise ships, is one of 46 recognized cruise destinations in Southeast Asia, attracts many large international shipping lines and is aiming to become an international standard cruise port.

A representative of Saigontourist said that from November to April next year is the peak season for international cruise ship passengers. During this time, the unit will welcome four more groups of passengers including: Celebrity Millennium with 1,800 passengers (November 9) and Celebrity Solstice with three trips on November 10, November 22 and December 4, each trip about 2,800 passengers.

According to the representative of the Department of Tourism, the tourism industry has been making efforts to connect and work with cruise companies, cooperate with travel agencies to exploit cruise passengers, research and develop products, and attract tourists to experience Hue tourism.
