Recall of shampoo batch distributed by Doan Di Bang's husband's company

The Drug Administration of Vietnam ( Ministry of Health ) has just issued a decision to suspend circulation, recall and destroy the entire batch of Hanayuki Shampoo products (300g bottles) due to not meeting quality standards.

According to the product label, the batch has PCB receipt number: 780/24/CBMP-DN; batch number: 0010125; production date: January 5, 2025; expiration date: January 4, 2027. The unit responsible for distribution is VB Group Trading and Service Company Limited (HCMC), while EBC Group Company Limited (now EBC Dong Nai Medical Factory Joint Stock Company) is responsible for production at Giang Dien Industrial Park, Dong Nai.

Test results conducted by the Ho Chi Minh City Institute of Drug Testing showed that the product sample violated microbial limits and contained 2-Phenoxyethanol - an ingredient not included in the registered and published formula.

In response to the above violations, the Drug Administration of Vietnam requests:

Immediately stop selling and using Hanayuki Shampoo products nationwide; return them to the supplier.

Local health departments shall widely notify and supervise the recall, destruction, and handling of violators in accordance with regulations.

VB Group and EBC Dong Nai must notify the distributors of the recall, receive the returned products, recall and destroy all violating shipments, and send a report of the results to the Department before June 8.

The Department also requested the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health and the Dong Nai Department of Health to closely monitor the recall and destruction process, and at the same time revoke the receipt number of the announcement form 780/24/CBMP-DN, inspect the production and trading activities of cosmetics of the two companies, and handle violations if any. The two departments must report the results to the Department before June 23.

VB Group Trading and Service Company Limited is the legal entity behind the Hanayuki cosmetics brand. Hanayuki's website shares a lot of information about Mr. Nguyen Quoc Vu and singer Doan Di Bang. Mr. Nguyen Quoc Vu is the legal representative and General Director of the company.

Singer Doan Di Bang and her husband are famous for their lavish lifestyle, owning many real estate properties and owning unique and rare luxury cars in Vietnam.
