Recall of Hanayuki Sunscreen Body cosmetics batch

According to the announcement of the Department of Drug Administration ( Ministry of Health ) in Official Dispatch No. 1365/QLD-MP dated May 16, 2025 on recall and destruction of cosmetics that do not meet quality standards, request: suspend circulation, recall nationwide the batch of Hanayuki Sunscreen Body products, box of 1 tube of 100 grams; on the label is written: PCB reception number: 779/24/CBMP-DN; batch number: 0010125; NSX: 060125; HD: 050127.

Organization responsible for bringing the product to market: VB Group Trading and Service Company Limited (address: mezzanine floor of Dai Thanh Binh building, 911-913-915-917 Nguyen Trai, Ward 14, District 5, Ho Chi Minh City; EBC Group Company Limited (address: Road No. 6, Giang Dien Industrial Park, Giang Dien Commune, Trang Bom District, Dong Nai Province) production.

The Drug Administration of Vietnam announced the suspension of circulation and nationwide recall of the product batch Hanayuki Sunscreen Body, box of 1 tube of 100 grams.

Reason for recall: The sun protection factor on the label (SPF 50) does not match the sun protection factor test results (SPF: 2.4).

The Drug Administration of Vietnam requests the health departments of provinces and cities to notify businesses and cosmetic users in the area to immediately stop selling and using the above batch of Hanayuki Sunscreen Body products, box of 1 tube of 100 grams, and return them to the product supplier.

Proceed to recall the above-mentioned batch of violating products; inspect and supervise units implementing this notice; handle violating units according to current regulations.

The Drug Administration requires VB Group Trading and Service Company Limited and EBC Dong Nai Medical Factory Joint Stock Company to receive returned products from business establishments and recall all products that do not meet regulations. In case the violating element cannot be removed (the violating product label cannot be separated from the product), Hanayuki Sunscreen Body product, box of 1 tube of 100 grams, must be destroyed.

Previously, in early May, the Drug Administration Department issued an official dispatch announcing the suspension of circulation, immediate cessation of use and recall of the Hanayuki shampoo cosmetic product batch, 300 gram bottle nationwide. The product has PCB acceptance number: 780/24/CBMP-DN, batch number: 0010125, NSX: 050125 and HD: 040127.

Reason for recall: The tested sample did not meet the quality standards for microbial limits and contained 2-Phenoxyethanol which is not included in the product formula that has been granted a cosmetic product declaration receipt number.
