When the movie Under the Tree of Happiness entered the climax of the conflict between the couple Son (Kim Oanh) and Dat (Manh Hung), the audience continuously called out Thu Hong's (Viet Hoa) name. Because according to the script, Thu Hong tried her best to attract a married man, even blatantly forcing Dat to find a job and then support her to go to school.
In episode 42 of the film, Thu Hong received a slap from Son when she frankly revealed that she had confessed her feelings to Dat, ready to "offer" but was not reciprocated.
Son's slap and the curses directed at Thu Hong made the audience extremely happy. In fact, this is not the first time Viet Hoa has played a hateful role, interfering in other people's happiness.

Viet Hoa is an actress at Vietnam Drama Theater.
In the movie The Girl from Someone Else's House , Viet Hoa plays Dao - a shameless, money-hungry younger sister who works as a hairdresser and shampooer. Dao despises the poor and always makes fun of other people's feelings.
However, when she learned that her sister was about to marry a playboy, Dao was willing to sleep with him to get evidence to help her sister wake up.
In the movie Taste of Love , Viet Hoa plays the role of Thien Nga - a scheming girl who can "act" her way into a rich family. Originally a playboy and a pleasure seeker, when she saw the male lead looking for a wife, Thien Nga did not hesitate to pretend to be a good girl.

Viet Hoa as Thien Nga in the movie "Taste of Love".
Not only did she stage a scene to make the female lead wronged, but she also agreed to take care of her lover's grandmother and gave her sleeping pills so she could party with her friends. When the incident was exposed, Thien Nga tried her best to explain and persuade her to marry into a rich family, but to no avail.
With her beautiful appearance and natural, authentic acting, Viet Hoa's roles leave a deep impression on the audience. The actress once shared that she felt no pressure when taking on a villain role because:
“The audience’s feedback is the most objective assessment. The audience is very smart and perceptive when watching the movie. They may hate the character, but they certainly don’t hate Viet Hoa in real life.”

"It's only natural that the audience hates the villain."
Viet Hoa is also quite calm when facing the fact that the audience hates her character: "Maybe because she is too absorbed, loves the movie, loves the positive characters, so it is right that the audience hates the negative characters.
Everyone wants to be happy and have good things, and we should hate the villains who disrupt us. And the "threatening" words are just temporary emotions when we are absorbed in watching the movie. Sometimes being "hated" by the audience is the happiness of artists like us."

In "Under the Tree of Happiness", Viet Hoa and her boyfriend (far right) act together but on opposite sides.
Interestingly, in the movie Under the Tree of Happiness , Viet Hoa and her boyfriend – actor Trong Tri – co-starred. While Viet Hoa plays the role of a “talented seedling” supported by Dat, having many intimate scenes with the male lead, Trong Tri plays the role of a capable subordinate, always nurturing the happiness of Dat and Son.
Because they are both actors, Trong Tri and Viet Hoa always understand and sympathize with each other's work. Even when Viet Hoa has to act in a "hot scene", her boyfriend is not jealous:
“My boyfriend has watched the movies I acted in. Since we work in the same profession, he more or less understands the specifics and nature of the work we do. Because of that, I don’t see him being jealous at all.”
