Immediately after announcing the benchmark scores, Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy announced the list of candidates admitted to the school in 2025.
Of which, the medical sector has 434 candidates admitted this year. Of the 7 candidates with a total admission score reaching the maximum of 30 points, 6 candidates received an additional score of 0.6-1.73 points to the total admission score. Notably, one candidate achieved a perfect score of 10 points in each subject according to the B00 combination (math-chemistry-biology). This candidate is Tran Duc Tai (former student of Nguyen Khuyen Secondary and High School, Ho Chi Minh City) who is the national valedictorian of the B00 group in the 2025 high school graduation exam.
In addition, the dental-maxillofacial department had 128 candidates admitted, the candidate with the highest admission score was 29.54 points.
Preventive medicine has 115 candidates admitted, the candidate with the highest admission score is 25.75.
Traditional medicine has 230 candidates admitted, the candidate with the highest admission score is 28.07.
The pharmaceutical industry has 597 candidates admitted, the candidate with the highest admission score is 29.45.
The pharmaceutical chemistry industry has 65 candidates admitted, the candidate with the highest admission score is 28.7.
The number of candidates admitted to the nursing major is 220, the anesthesiology and resuscitation nursing major is 130, the midwifery major is 131, the nutrition major is 87, the dental prosthetics major is 42, the medical testing major is 170, the medical imaging major is 94, the rehabilitation major is 109, the public health major is 96, and the social work major is 61.

Yesterday afternoon (August 22), Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy announced the admission scores for the first round of 2025 ranging from 17 to 27.34 points. The Admissions Council of Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy noted that the admission results of candidates are announced based on information from high school graduation exam results, industry databases, provided by candidates and other data; any errors will be resolved according to regulations.
