Immediately after arriving in Hanoi , Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese had his first activity, which was visiting RMIT University (Kim Ma, Ngoc Khanh, Hanoi).

Then in the early afternoon, under the hot, sweaty sun, the Australian Prime Minister and his colleagues went to a beer house on Duong Thanh Street (Hoan Kiem) to enjoy draft beer and bread.

Vietnamese bread has received much praise from international media. Vietnamese bread is loved by many foreign tourists because of its unique crispy crust, along with a variety of fillings such as pate, char siu, fried eggs, pork rinds and flavorful vegetables.

Talking to VietNamNet, Mr. Nguyen Hanh (who sat with Prime Minister Anthony Albanese) said: "Today's lunch lasted about 30-40 minutes, I introduced to the Prime Minister about Vietnamese cuisine, beer and how people drink beer. The Prime Minister shared that among today's dishes, his favorite dish was cha ca. He was very happy with the affection and hospitality of the Vietnamese people."

Mr. Hanh said that at first many people thought the Prime Minister would be tired after the flight, but no, he was very friendly, happy and drank more than 3 glasses of beer.

Vietnam is one of the Asian countries that imports a lot of high-quality food from Australia. More than 80% of Vietnam's wheat flour is imported from Australia. Many other agricultural products from the two countries are also exchanged, making the dishes of the two countries increasingly closer to the people.

The image of heads of state and leaders of countries walking around and eating specialties on the streets is no longer strange to the Vietnamese people. The unique cuisine and friendly, hospitable people of Vietnam continue to leave a good impression in the eyes of international friends.

Here, he and his colleagues enjoyed traditional Hanoi bread and draft beer - a familiar drink of the capital's people on hot summer days.
The Australian Prime Minister drank three glasses of beer and used chopsticks to enjoy Vietnamese snacks.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese gave a thumbs up as he took his first bite of banh mi, saying “Vietnamese banh mi is delicious” and drank beer amid the shouts of “1,2,3 cheers” from the people of the capital who were present at the shop.
Joining the Prime Minister for a Hanoi-style lunch was chef Sam Tran, who spent nearly 10 years studying in Australia. The chef carefully introduced each dish to the special Australian delegation.
Praising Vietnamese cuisine for its diverse and unique dishes, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese tried boiled peanuts, fish cakes, grilled pork belly and green bean curd. Each dish brought an unexpected experience to the Australian Prime Minister.
