Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh inspects project progress and visits meritorious people

Continuing the program of visiting and working in Quang Tri province, on the afternoon of July 27, Politburo member, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh inspected the project of building Passenger Terminal T2 and expanding the aircraft parking lot - Dong Hoi Airport. Participating in the program, on the side of Quang Tri province were Party Central Committee member, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Ngoc Quang; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Phong.

The project to build Passenger Terminal T2 and expand the aircraft parking lot - Dong Hoi Airport includes two component projects: Construction of Passenger Terminal T2 and Expansion of the aircraft parking lot, with a total investment of nearly 1,850 billion VND. Of which, component project 1 is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2026; component project 2 was completed in June 2025.

Currently, Vietnam Airports Corporation is implementing the project "Fire truck garage - Field vehicles and Ground equipment staging area - Dong Hoi Airport", an independent project approved by the People's Committee of Quang Tri province, expected to start construction in the fourth quarter of 2025 and be completed in the third quarter of 2026.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Provincial Party Secretary Le Ngoc Quang presented gifts to encourage officers and workers working on the project.

There are still some problems in the implementation of the projects. The investor's representative has made recommendations and proposals to the ministries and branches to speed up the progress.

After inspecting the site and listening to the report, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh highly appreciated the efforts of the investor. The Prime Minister also requested the investor to coordinate with relevant units to continue to speed up the progress, work in 3 shifts, 4 shifts, working day and night, ensuring the progress, quality, safety and aesthetics of the project. The Prime Minister also noted the expansion of the airport and runways..., ensuring to meet the development requirements in the new period.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visits war invalid Nguyen Duy Dang.

On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visited and presented gifts to war invalid Nguyen Duy Dang in Dong Thuan ward, Quang Tri province. Accompanying him was Party Central Committee member, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee, Minister of Home Affairs Pham Thi Thanh Tra.

Inquiring about the health and life of the war invalids, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh expressed his deep gratitude for Mr. Nguyen Duy Dang's contributions to the cause of protecting the nation's independence and freedom. Wishing him and his family good health and continuing to be a shining example for his descendants, the Prime Minister also requested local Party committees and authorities to continue to care for war invalids and families of policy beneficiaries, worthy of the great contributions of generations to the homeland and the country.
