Prime Minister visits and presents gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in Quang Tri province

On July 26, Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visited and worked in Quang Tri province. The Government delegation included Party Central Committee member and Minister of Home Affairs Pham Thi Thanh Tra; Alternate Party Central Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, First Secretary of the Central Youth Union Bui Quang Huy.

During the visit and working session, this morning, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the delegation visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Dao Thi Vui, Dai An Khe village, Hai Lang commune. Born in 1923, Vui's husband and only son died in the resistance war against France and the US.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh kindly visited the health and life of Heroic Mother Dao Thi Vui and her family members and encouraged them. Expressing his deep gratitude for the sacrifices and contributions of the Mother and her family to the country's revolutionary cause, the Prime Minister affirmed that the Party, State and People will forever remember her great contributions and will continue to care for and implement preferential policies for those with meritorious services, worthy of the great sacrifices of the Heroic Mother.
