On April 10, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh sent a letter to head coach Cristiano Roland and the entire National U17 Men's Football Team.

In the letter, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh wrote: "Tens of millions of football fans and Vietnamese people are very happy and excited to witness the National Men's U17 Football Team compete resiliently and excellently to gain important points against strong teams in the continent such as Australia and the current U17 Asian champion Japan, opening up great opportunities at the U17 Asian Finals and also the qualifying round for the 2025 U17 World Cup."

"This is a very impressive result, demonstrating the constant efforts, solidarity, enthusiasm and brave heart, determination not to retreat in the face of difficulties and always giving their all for the national men's U17 football team's colors."

"On behalf of the Government, I would like to express my warmest appreciation and gratitude to the coaching staff, players, support staff and those who have accompanied the team, including the important tactical guidance of head coach Cristiano Roland."

"In tonight's decisive match, I hope and believe that the coaching staff and players will prepare well, have appropriate tactical plans, compete with the highest concentration and determination, with "a warm heart, a cool head," and unite to achieve the best results, affirming the development of Vietnamese football in particular and regional football in general; at the same time, opening up many development opportunities for the country's football in the coming time.
