On the morning of January 27, in Hanoi, Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visited, inspected the on-duty work and wished a Happy New Year to officers and soldiers of Brigade K3, General Department II ( Ministry of National Defense ).
Accompanying the Prime Minister was General Phan Van Giang, Politburo member and Minister of National Defense.
At Brigade K3, emphasizing the position, role and importance of the Defense Intelligence Agency, the attention of the Party and State leaders to this force, the Prime Minister acknowledged, commended and highly appreciated the feats, achievements and results that the Army, the Defense Intelligence Force and Brigade K3 achieved in 2024, effectively serving the two strategic tasks of building and defending the socialist Fatherland of Vietnam.
The Prime Minister affirmed that the results achieved by the Brigade demonstrated the bravery, determination, fighting discipline and the persistent and resilient efforts and training of the special reconnaissance soldiers of the National Defense Intelligence Service, and highly appreciated the quality of training and combat readiness of the Brigade.
The Prime Minister assessed that after nearly 30 years of building, fighting and growing, Brigade K3 has always been an elite and loyal fighting force of the National Defense Intelligence, achieving many outstanding achievements, deserving to be the honored unit to be awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces in the Renewal Period by the Party and State.
Under the leadership and direction of the Party Standing Committee and the Commander of General Department II, the officers, employees and soldiers of the Brigade always strive to overcome all difficulties and hardships, excellently complete assigned tasks, directly contribute to the cause of protecting the Fatherland early and from afar and build a strong National Defense Intelligence; build the tradition of "Loyalty - Trust - Good fighting - Determined to win".

The Prime Minister requested the unit to continue promoting the heroic tradition of the Vietnam People's Army, of the National Defense Intelligence and of the Brigade under the leadership of the Party, closely attached to the people.
Taking building a strong, exemplary, comprehensive unit as the central task; building a clean, strong, exemplary Party organization as the key task.
The head of the Government requested to always maintain the ideological front, build cadres, employees and soldiers with steadfast and firm political will, absolute loyalty to the Party, the Fatherland and the people, proactively overcome difficulties, have high determination, ready to receive and successfully complete tasks in all situations.
Further improve the quality of training, combat readiness, train troops with truly elite technical, tactical, and professional expertise, good combat skills, good action skills, independent combat capability, and high combat strength, worthy of being one of the main action units in the combat formation of the National Defense Intelligence.
The Prime Minister noted that it is necessary to always grasp the situation of the area, objects, and routes, always improve and innovate in operating methods, be ready to respond to all possible situations, and handle issues quickly, flexibly, promptly, and effectively.
