Prime Minister visits people killed by tornado and collapsed houses in Ninh Binh

At Phu Binh village, Quy Nhat commune, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his delegation visited Mr. Hoang Van Khiem (born in 1934) and Mrs. Doan Thi Nhi (born in 1938). Their house collapsed in a tornado that occurred in the early morning of September 29, killing them.

Condolences to the families of the victims, quickly support people to repair their houses.

The Prime Minister sent his deepest condolences to the families of the victims and shared the pain, loss and difficulties of the Party Committee, government and people in the disaster-stricken areas.

Sharing the irreparable losses with the relatives of the unfortunate people, as well as the damage to the people of Quy Nhat commune, the Prime Minister affirmed that the Party and State deeply understand and share the losses and difficulties of people in disaster areas across the country, and have directed the urgent implementation of urgent solutions to quickly overcome the consequences of storms, floods and stabilize people's lives.

The Prime Minister requested ministries and branches to closely coordinate with local authorities to seriously implement the directions of General Secretary To Lam , the Standing Secretariat, and the Prime Minister's dispatches, speed up the progress of overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, storms and floods, and quickly stabilize the situation of people in areas affected by natural disasters as soon as possible.

In particular, support people to repair houses that have had their roofs blown off or damaged by storms and floods; arrange temporary shelters, provide food, drinking water, and necessities for households that have lost their homes, and absolutely not let any people go hungry, cold, thirsty, homeless, or lacking clothing.

Tornado in Ninh Binh kills 9 people, injures 50

According to information from the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, as of 4 p.m. on September 30, storm No. 10 and floods, landslides, and thunderstorms in 17 provinces and cities in the North and Central regions have killed 27 people, left 21 missing, and injured 112; 158,446 houses collapsed, collapsed, damaged, had their roofs blown off, and were flooded; 26,676 hectares of rice and crops were flooded and damaged; many infrastructure works, electric poles, and trees were broken and felled...

In Ninh Binh alone, a tornado caused by storm No. 10 Bualoi on September 29 killed 9 people and injured 50 others.

Of these, 8 victims died due to the tornado collapsing their houses. Quy Nhat commune alone had 4 victims, including Mr. Hoang Van Khiem and his wife, Ms. Doan Thi Nhi, Mr. Nguyen Van Khanh (born in 1952, village 10), and Ms. Tran Thi Rang (born in 1950, village 10).

The remaining victims are Ms. Nguyen Thi Kieu (born in 1989, residential group 3, Hai Thinh commune), Ms. Pham Thi Hai (born in 1958, village 1 Hai Duong, Hai Anh commune), Ms. Nguyen Thi Sen (born in 1940, team 1, Hong Phong commune), Mr. Nguyen Van Quynh (born in 1957, hamlet 4, Chat Binh commune).

One death caused by a falling tree was Mr. Bui Van Khip (born in 1941, Doi village, Gia Hung commune).
