On the afternoon of May 29, the State Bank organized the Digital Transformation of the Banking Industry Event 2025 with the theme “Smart Digital Ecosystem in the New Era”. This is an annual event of the entire industry and is the third year that Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has visited and attended a series of activities at the event.

Visiting the booths, the Prime Minister highly appreciated the innovative atmosphere, the determination and the strong participation of the entire industry, especially commercial banks, in which people and businesses are the center and subject of digital transformation. The technology display booths were invested in a systematic manner, demonstrating great progress in digitalization, infrastructure, services and experiences.

Speaking at the event, the Prime Minister said that the goal of digital transformation is to help connect and facilitate transactions between commercial banks with people, businesses and the state, contributing to the country's rapid and sustainable development, contributing to the development of the digital economy , digital government, digital society, digital citizens; contributing to stabilizing the macro economy, controlling inflation, ensuring major balances of the economy, through reducing banking costs, reducing costs for people and businesses; reducing time, reducing costs, reducing hassles, preventing corruption and negativity by reducing direct contact between people.

Accordingly, the Prime Minister pointed out that digital transformation of banks must adhere to the guidelines, take drastic actions, improve efficiency; must seize opportunities, take the lead in technology, promote development; pioneer in technology, take the lead in innovation; diversified products, professional services, security; and especially must be close to the people, close to the market, for the benefit of the people and the development of businesses.

Earlier, on the morning of May 29, within the framework of his official visit to Vietnam, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh welcomed Hungarian President Sulyok Tamas and joined a high-ranking delegation to visit the exhibition space at the Banking Industry Digital Transformation Day 2025.

At the event, HDBank's booth continued to be the highlight attracting many visitors and experiences. Bank representatives directly welcomed Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Hungarian President Sulyok Tamas, along with leaders of the State Bank and high-ranking agencies, introducing outstanding digital financial solutions.

On the same afternoon, Mr. Pham Quoc Thanh - Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of HDBank continued to welcome the Prime Minister's delegation and Governor of the State Bank Nguyen Thi Hong at HDBank's exhibition space; directly introducing new digital banking solutions, and especially details about the 4-in-1 Card - a breakthrough product that helps customers to use a variety of utilities in just 5 minutes of online registration.

Since the end of 2024, HDBank has deployed Apple Pay and Google Pay features for this card line, allowing customers to make quick payments with just one touch on their phones or smartwatches. After 6 months, the number of transactions via these platforms has exceeded 32,000. In addition, the card promotion campaign has reached more than 20 million users on digital platforms, generating more than 100 million impressions, contributing to increasing brand awareness and promoting digital finance trends in the community.

As a multi-utility solution, the 4-in-1 card demonstrates HDBank's orientation in building a seamless, accessible and user-friendly payment ecosystem - especially for customers who are gradually switching to digital payment habits.

Not only introducing products, HDBank also brought to this year's Banking Digital Transformation Day the spirit of innovation - humanity - sustainability of a modern bank. This is part of the strategy to accompany the Government and the State Bank in implementing major orientations such as Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo and Decision 810 of the State Bank on digital transformation of the banking industry.
