The program was attended by Mr. Ngo Minh Hien and Mr. Vu Hai Quang - Deputy General Director of Voice of Vietnam ; Mr. Nguyen Truong Son - Editor-in-Chief ofWorld and Vietnam Newspaper and representatives of ministries, departments, agencies, press agencies and Vietnam friendship organizations.
On the Chinese side, Mr. Le Phan - Director of the Press Office of the People's Government of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region led a delegation of leaders of press agencies, media and friendship organizations of the two countries.
In his opening speech, Mr. Ngo Minh Hien, Deputy General Director of Voice of Vietnam, emphasized: “Today’s exchange program is a vivid demonstration of the connection between the press agencies of the two countries. Through activities of sharing experiences and exchanging expertise, we together promote truthful and objective information, contributing to enhancing mutual understanding and trust between the people of the two countries.”
At the same time, he expressed his hope that Vietnamese and Chinese press agencies will continue to maintain and expand practical and effective cooperation, contributing to further deepening the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between the two countries.

On the Chinese side, Mr. Le Phan highly appreciated the significance of the program, saying that this is a practical activity to promote exchanges and enhance cooperation between press agencies of the two countries, especially in the context that the media plays an increasingly important role in connecting information, building trust and understanding between the people of the two countries.
Mr. Le Phan hopes that the two sides will continue to expand dialogue channels, strengthen cooperation in content, communication technology and human resource training.

Within the framework of the program, many meaningful activities were organized, contributing to strengthening the connection between media agencies of the two countries.
Notably, the Launching Ceremony of the documentary The Development Path , a collaborative product between press agencies of the two countries, reflects the development process of the two countries' relations through the media perspective; and the Launching Ceremony of the Vietnam - China Media Exchange Program 2025, opening a series of professional cooperation and exchange activities in the coming year.

Immediately after the launching ceremony was a discussion with the theme "Youth join hands - Intelligence creates the future", with the participation of press agencies, media, youth organizations and representatives of the young generation of the two countries.
This is an opportunity for youth from both sides to share experiences and promote innovation in the field of digital media; at the same time, affirm the role of youth in building a bridge of friendship, contributing to the sustainable development of relations between the two countries.
Delegates openly discussed many issues of common concern such as: The role of the media in promoting peace and cooperation; Digital transformation trends in journalism; Cooperation initiatives between the two countries' youth in media, technology and innovation.
