During the past term, the Party Committee of Thuan An Port Border Guard Station was united, innovative, proactive, creative, and determined in leadership and direction, proposed many appropriate policies and solutions, and successfully organized and completed the goals and tasks set out by the Congress in all three aspects: Political tasks; building a comprehensively strong unit "Exemplary and typical"; building a clean and strong Party Committee; in which many tasks were excellently completed.

Proactively do a good job of grasping and forecasting the situation, promptly advise and propose to the Party Committee, Command, Party committees and local authorities many important contents on building, managing and protecting border security and sovereignty, building a strong people's border defense. Promote the role of the core, specialized force, protecting territorial sovereignty and national border security.

Officers and soldiers have strong political will, high responsibility, overcome all difficulties, ready to receive and complete all assigned tasks. Effectively fight against all types of crime, maintain political security, social order and safety in the area of ​​responsibility.

Carry out border gate work, training, combat readiness, participate in disease prevention, natural disasters, search and rescue. Party building and rectification work has many innovations creating positive changes; leadership capacity, fighting strength of Party committees, Party organizations, and the quality of cadres and Party members are increasingly improved.

During the term, the unit patrolled the area 840 times/nearly 4,300 officers and soldiers; coordinated 9 sea patrols. Organized 15 concentrated propaganda sessions/nearly 950 ship and boat owners; conducted 235 mobile propaganda sessions, distributed about 1,300 leaflets, donated 400 life jackets, mobilized more than 180 ship and boat owners to write a commitment; installed and effectively used the fishing vessel control software at the Border Control Station.

Ballots to elect the new executive committee

Presided over, detected and handled 11 cases/12 subjects/6 vehicles with illegal fishing activities, issued decisions to fine 9 cases/10 subjects/4 vehicles/nearly 80 million VND; advised the Command to issue decisions to fine 2 cases/2 subjects/2 vehicles/80 million VND; together with the Representative Office of the Fisheries Control Center, detected, reminded and corrected nearly 500 ships and boats that lost connection to the journey monitoring device. Registered for inspection and control; registered and verified more than 15 thousand ships and boats/more than 77 thousand fishermen...

During its tenure, Thuan An Port Border Guard Station was awarded the Emulation Flag by the Provincial People's Committee (now the city); 4 years of winning the title "Determined to Win Unit"; 38 collectives and 90 individuals were awarded certificates of merit by all levels and sectors.

The Congress drew 5 lessons; proposed many directions, goals, tasks, and leadership solutions for the 2025-2030 term.

Colonel Ca Van Lap, Political Commissar of Hue City Border Guard, praised the achievements of Thuan An Port Border Guard Station. At the same time, he emphasized that the Party Committee of the unit needs to continue to lead the implementation of the task of firmly protecting the territorial sovereignty and national border security in all situations.
