At the workshop "QR Code Payment: Transparency and Unlimited Experience" held on the afternoon of November 19, directed by the Payment Department (State Bank) and organized by VnEconomy in coordination with NAPAS, tax industry representatives shared many important orientations related to non-cash payment activities and support for business households in the conversion process.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Mai Son, Deputy Director of the Tax Department, said that the tax sector is prioritizing accompanying the private enterprise sector, especially the group of business households that are implementing lump-sum tax declaration to switch to the declaration mechanism. According to him, in the 60-day and night campaign being implemented, the tax authority needs to build a closed support ecosystem, from accounting software providers to tax declaration and payment-related activities.

QR Payment offers clear advantages: sellers do not have to record manually, all cash flows during the day are separated and clearly displayed, helping to limit confusion. This is the foundation for management agencies to create a healthy business environment through transparent transactions.

Deputy Director of the Tax Department Mai Son emphasized that currently, from cash payment, bank transfer to QR Code all play an essential role. However, all forms must be based on legal and practical foundations, and at the same time be consistent with the tax industry's goal of connecting payment intermediaries with business households and enterprises. According to him, a society that aims for fairness and transparency, business activities must also be transparent accordingly. In the business sector, non-cash payments have long been popular and are strictly regulated by law, especially for transactions of 5 million VND or more.

For small traders and people trading goods, there are now many cashless payment options that make it easier to make operations transparent. In particular, QR Payment brings clear advantages: sellers do not have to record manually, all cash flows during the day are separated and clearly displayed, helping to limit confusion. This is the foundation for management agencies to create a healthy business environment through transparent transactions.

Regarding accounting, Mr. Son said that the tax authority will increase support for taxpayers by developing a nationwide data connection and sharing system. When sectors and systems connect data - from business activity information to specialized professional data - the tax authority will be able to support more effectively. This helps tax authorities provide suggested declarations for business households and micro-enterprises, significantly reducing compliance costs and time to fulfill obligations. At the same time, connecting with the cashless payment system, including QR Payment, will open an important support channel for taxpayers.

Mr. Son said that in the coming time, business households and enterprises will aim to register payment account codes to serve their transactions. From the perspective of state management, real-time cash flow helps tax authorities promptly detect signs of violations in the purchase and use of illegal invoices. This is a key task, requiring connection and data sharing according to the provisions of the Law on Tax Administration, the Law on Credit Institutions and related documents.

According to him, early detection of suspicious activities helps tax authorities coordinate with functional forces to protect goods sources, protect consumers as well as protect inputs of production and business activities from invoices with signs of violations. Correctly identifying cash flow in transactions is an extremely important factor to achieve this goal.

In addition to management benefits, Mr. Son said that the popularization of non-cash payment methods also helps state agencies provide public services more conveniently, while helping businesses and business households save significantly on costs and time in complying with procedures. From the perspective of the tax authority - the unit that plays the role of a bridge - he expressed his wish that the cost of using banking services, especially QR Payment, should be maintained at the lowest level. The tax sector is ready to cooperate with solution providers to widely introduce to business households and businesses to minimize compliance costs, in line with the general direction of the Central Government in promoting the strong development of the private economy .
