( Bqp.vn ) - On the morning of October 31, the General Staff delegation led by Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024 inspected and worked with Factory Z117 (General Department of Defense Industry) and Brigade 113 (Special Forces) on the preparation of exhibition booths, gifts and performances for the exhibition.

After directly inspecting and encouraging the staff and workers of Factory Z117, Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan praised and highly appreciated Factory Z117 for its careful preparation for this exhibition; at the same time, he requested the factory to continue to coordinate with the Reception Subcommittee to prepare good gifts for the delegations attending the exhibition, demonstrating the cultural identity and traditions of Vietnam.

According to the report of Factory Z117, after receiving the plan to participate in the exhibition and introduce products, the factory prepared and reported the plan to prepare a booth at the exhibition including a list of dozens of typical products in 3 groups: Defense products, economic products and gifts. The products meet the requirements of the Organizing Committee, hoping to create a good impression on international delegations, friends and people coming to visit.

At Brigade 113, Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan inspected the drum performance practice of the Special Forces to perform at the exhibition. For many months, the Special Forces have been selecting, organizing physical improvement, training, and joint training, with the desire to bring heroic and impressive performances, demonstrating the strength of the elite special forces of the Vietnam People's Army.

Praising the spirit and efforts to overcome difficulties and hardships of the Special Forces, including the training unit at Brigade 113 and at the Special Forces Officer School, Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan emphasized that the performance and coordination in the opening ceremony of the exhibition played a very important role; it was a unique feature, demonstrating the strength of the Vietnam People's Army. Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan requested that officers, soldiers, and Special Forces students focus on practicing, ensuring uniformity, unity, and beauty, demonstrating discipline and eliteness, meeting the expectations of international friends and the people's trust in "Uncle Ho's Soldiers".
