Assessing the opponent in the final match, Viktor Le admitted that U23 Indonesia is a difficult team to play against, but the U23 Vietnam team is completely confident: “We have only conceded 2 goals since the beginning of the tournament. The whole team always maintains confidence in every minute, every match. Indonesia is a strong opponent, but we will play our best and hope to have a good match.”
Finally, when asked about the possibility of the final going into a nerve-wracking penalty shootout, Viktor Le remained calm: “Penalties are just a part of the game. What’s important is how we perform in the 90 minutes. Hopefully U23 Vietnam can settle the match in regulation time, but if it has to be a penalty shootout, then let’s do it.”
