Received many artifacts used to explore major projects

On May 21, the Police Museum, Department of Political Work, Ministry of Public Security received many artifacts, documents, and images donated by the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department, Khanh Hoa Provincial Police, Quang Ninh Provincial Police, and Kien Giang Provincial Police.

At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee received a specialized gun used by scout Nguyen Van Sat, a former police officer of Kien Giang province, in the anti-espionage mission and Project CM12 (CM12 Plan) - a large-scale counter-espionage campaign and a brilliant achievement of the People's Public Security Forces.

The Drug Crime Investigation Police Department also presented the CAND Museum with many special artifacts such as: Gas masks, electrician's uniforms, special protective clothing... These are artifacts used by officers and soldiers in the project to destroy a criminal organization illegally producing synthetic drugs on an especially large scale with modern equipment and advanced technology in Khanh Hoa in March 2025.

In this case, the investigation agency seized 1.4 tons of ketamine with very high purity, along with nearly 80 tons of chemicals, enough grounds to temporarily detain 9 subjects, including 4 Chinese subjects, 3 Taiwanese subjects (China), 2 Vietnamese subjects. The subjects admitted to the act of illegally producing drugs.

Also at the ceremony, Quang Ninh Provincial Police handed over many artifacts of the martyr, Major Nguyen Dang Khai, an officer of the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department, Quang Ninh Provincial Police: military uniform, party member handbook, Party activity introduction paper... of Major Nguyen Dang Khai who sacrificed on April 17, 2025 while fighting and arresting a subject illegally transporting drugs.

It is known that this is the last batch of artifacts received by the CAND Museum, the Department of Political Work in implementing Plan No. 247 of the Ministry of Public Security on collecting artifacts for display at the CAND Museum. Accordingly, from May 2024 to May 2025, the Organizing Committee has collected thousands of images, documents, artifacts, and memorabilia of the CAND force through many periods.

Respectfully receiving the artifacts, Major General Dang Ngoc Bach, Deputy Director of the Department of Political Affairs, affirmed that the artifacts and memorabilia presented on May 21 in particular, and the artifacts in the entire collection in general, are clear evidence of the bravery, loyalty and dedication of the People's Public Security soldiers "Forgetting themselves for the country, serving the people". This is an important source of artifacts to supplement the display at the People's Public Security Museum to serve the propaganda and education of traditions, contributing to building a regular, elite and modern People's Public Security.

Major General Dang Ngoc Bach also requested the Public Security of units and localities to continue to promote the collection of artifacts to serve the propaganda, spread the feats and achievements of the People's Public Security Forces, contributing to enriching the cultural and historical heritage of the People's Public Security Forces. The People's Public Security Museum continues to study and collect documents and artifacts of the People's Public Security Forces in a comprehensive manner, further promoting the value of artifacts so that people can understand more fully the contributions and sacrifices of the People's Public Security Forces.
