Dien Hong Photography Award Subcommittee preliminarily judges the participating works

On the afternoon of November 20, in Hanoi, the Photo Subcommittee of the 4th National Press Award on the National Assembly and People's Councils (Dien Hong Award) in 2025, chaired by Head of the Subcommittee, Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Pictorial Nguyen Thang, held a meeting to select and preliminarily judge the participating photo works.

Participating in the preliminary judging, the members of the Photo Subcommittee worked seriously, responsibly, openly and transparently.

Based on the criteria, purpose and significance of the Dien Hong Award, members of the Photo Subcommittee said that the works focused on reflecting new issues, good models and creative solutions, helping to improve the operational efficiency of the National Assembly and People's Councils; many outstanding photo works contributed to raising people's awareness of the position, role, function, organization and operation of the National Assembly and People's Councils.

The authors focused on vividly reflecting on the digital transformation activities of the National Assembly; the National Assembly's mark in implementing the two-level local government model; Contributions of National Assembly deputies, National Assembly delegations of provinces and cities in legislative activities, supervision and decision-making on important issues...

The selected press photo works for the final round include single photos, photo series or photo reports. For photo series or photo reports about a newspaper content with many photos, only select each photo series or photo report of no more than 10 photos, published in the same issue or at the same time (for electronic newspapers).

After discussion and evaluation, the Photo Subcommittee selected 10 high-quality works that met the criteria and themes of the Dien Hong Award for the final round.
