The Provincial Party Congress Logistics Subcommittee met to assess preparation progress.

On the morning of August 8, the Logistics Subcommittee of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term held a meeting to assess the progress of implementing tasks serving the Congress. Comrade Nguyen Manh Tuan, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Subcommittee, chaired the meeting. Attending the meeting were leaders of agencies and units that are members of the Subcommittee.

At the meeting, delegates reported on the progress of assigned tasks, in which many items and works have been actively implemented such as: The system of banners and welcome slogans has been reviewed for installation at key traffic intersections; lighting and urban decoration basically have implementation plans; environmental sanitation and tree care are being deployed simultaneously; The project to renovate the Provincial Convention Center has completed about 98% of the volume, and the conference hall is expected to be handed over on August 20. Some other items are being urgently completed such as urban beautification, repairing damaged billboards, pruning trees, arranging checkpoints and traffic diversion to serve the Congress, etc.

The leaders of the Provincial Party Committee Office reported on the progress of preparations for transportation and accommodation for delegates.

In addition, the Subcommittee has developed and implemented plans to ensure uninterrupted electricity and water supply; environmental sanitation before, during and after the Congress; purchasing tools, equipment, stationery, badges and gifts; mobilizing and renting vehicles to transport delegates; preparing health care plans; printing and distributing documents; checking and repairing fire prevention, security and technical systems at guesthouses and hotels; practicing fire and explosion response and arranging 24/7 staff during the Congress.

Leaders of the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board reported on the progress of urban beautification.

Speaking at the conclusion of the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Manh Tuan, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, emphasized: Logistics work is to ensure the best conditions for the Congress to take place solemnly, safely, economically, effectively, leaving a good impression on the delegates and the people. He requested agencies and units to urgently organize and implement according to the plan. During the implementation process, if new problems arise, the Support Teams must immediately report to the Standing Unit for discussion and guidance.

In the immediate future, it is necessary to create an atmosphere geared towards the Congress, remove and replace old content on the welcome gate; repair and fix damaged and broken billboards on Highway 37 and other routes; trim trees, renovate traffic intersections... complete urban beautification before September 15. All items and work content must be carried out on schedule, avoiding passive situations.

Comrade Nguyen Manh Tuan requested all members of the Subcommittee, the Working Groups and relevant agencies and units to seriously and effectively implement the proposed plan, ensure progress and quality, and contribute to the successful organization of the Congress.
