Grasping the increased demand during the holidays, Ms. Nguyen Thi Dang's vegetable, root and fruit stall in Sa Pa tourist market has doubled its quantity since the morning of April 30, mainly selling Sa Pa specialty vegetables such as chayote shoots, chayote fruit, cabbage, kohlrabi, mustard sprouts, and upland mustard greens. Ms. Nguyen Thi Dang shared that vegetables, roots and fruits are imported from cooperatives and growing and production facilities with clear addresses in the area. "Vegetables and fruits often serve the consumption needs of local people and restaurants, hotels, etc., so prices are quite stable," said Ms. Nguyen Thi Dang.
Sa Pa Tourist Market is currently the largest shopping center in the town, supplying consumer goods, food as well as products to serve the needs of local residents, restaurants, hotels, and tourists. Therefore, the Market Management Board is very proactive in promoting traders to comply with regulations on prices, product quality, etc., ensuring market stability.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hai, owner of a stall at Sa Pa market, said that her family has prepared a source of goods to ensure that they meet the commitment with the Market Management Board regarding quality and price.


Ms. Do Mai Phuong, Deputy Head of Sa Pa Town Market Management Board, said that during times when there are many tourists like now, the Market Management Board always proactively implements solutions to ensure supply for the market, while also making Sa Pa market a popular destination.
Sa Pa tourist market currently has 532 operating stalls, the first floor has 180 fixed kiosks divided into 6 business lines such as: traditional medicine; brocade, souvenirs; dry goods, groceries; handicrafts; food. The second floor has 178 fixed kiosks divided into 4 product lines including: ready-made clothes, garments; groceries; fast food, refreshments; brocade of ethnic minorities. The food and vegetable market area is separated with 174 points of sale divided into 3 product lines: fresh goods; cooked food; vegetables, flowers, fruits.



To serve the needs of tourists when coming to Sa Pa, Sa Pa tourist market has added a night market in the yard area so that vendors can sell food and souvenirs to tourists, thereby creating a tourist attraction, contributing to the development of night tourism economy in the area.
