Coffee prices today, April 25, 2025, in key areas of the Central Highlands continue to record a strong upward trend, reflecting the excitement of the domestic agricultural market. According to the latest data, the average coffee price reached 132,100 VND/kg, an increase of 1,700 VND/kg compared to the previous day, showing impressive growth momentum.
Specifically, in Dak Lak and Dak Nong, coffee prices reached 132,200 VND/kg, an increase of 1,700 VND/kg; Gia Lai recorded a price of 132,000 VND/kg, an increase of 1,600 VND/kg; while Lam Dong had a slightly lower price of 131,500 VND/kg, but still an increase of 1,500 VND/kg.
This upward price trend not only reflects the increasing demand for robusta coffee in the international market, but is also affected by factors such as unfavorable weather in major producing countries such as Brazil and short-term supply shortages. Compared to March 17, 2025, when the coffee price in Dak Lak was 132,700 VND/kg and Dak Nong was 133,000 VND/kg (according to vietnam.vn), the current price has decreased slightly, but is still maintained at a high level, showing that the market is still in a positive phase.

New York Arabica Coffee Price April 25, 2025
News, forecast for coffee prices tomorrow, April 26, 2025, domestic and world coffee prices remain high
Tomorrow, the price of coffee on April 26, 2025 is predicted to have changes that even those who are not familiar with economics can easily grasp. In the world market, there are two main types of coffee: Arabica and Robusta. Arabica, the type of coffee often used in high-end coffee shops, is expected to increase in price by 5 to 8 cents per pound, which is about more than 100 VND per kilogram. This comes from the fact that Brazil, the world's largest coffee producer, is facing difficulties due to bad weather and a slow decline in coffee reserves. On the contrary, Robusta, a popular type of coffee in Vietnam and often used for brewing, may not increase anymore but remain the same or decrease slightly, about 20 to 40 USD per ton, equivalent to a few hundred VND per kilogram. The reason is that the price of Robusta has increased sharply in recent days, so it may need to "rest" a bit now.
In Vietnam, coffee prices on April 26, 2025 in the Central Highlands provinces, where the most coffee is grown, are expected to change slightly. In Dak Lak and Dak Nong, prices may increase to around 131,000 to 131,500 VND per kg, while in Gia Lai, prices may increase to around 130,800 VND per kg, and Lam Dong may reach 130,500 VND per kg. These figures show that coffee prices are on a slight upward trend, but not too strong. This could be good news for farmers, as they can sell their coffee for a slightly higher price than today.
Looking further ahead, coffee prices on April 26, 2025 and in the coming time are likely to continue to increase, both in Vietnam and in the world. The main reason is the global coffee shortage, especially from Brazil, where production may decrease by 5 to 10% due to drought and unfavorable weather. Moreover, the US dollar is weakening, causing the price of commodities such as coffee to increase. In Vietnam, many farmers are holding back coffee, not selling immediately, waiting for higher prices, so supply is also limited. If the drought situation continues, domestic coffee prices could reach VND150,000 per kg in the near future, bringing better profits to growers.
However, there are also challenges to be aware of. The European Union is introducing new anti-deforestation regulations, requiring exported coffee to meet strict standards, such as clear proof of origin. For Vietnam, where the majority of coffee is grown by smallholder farmers, this is not easy. However, the coffee price on April 26, 2025, still shows a positive signal, and farmers can hope for a higher-value crop if the weather and market are favorable in the coming time.
