- On April 28, Lang Son Provincial Youth Union organized a visit and presented gifts to policy beneficiaries in Lang Son city, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
During the program, representatives of the Provincial Youth Union visited and presented gifts to 5 families of people with revolutionary contributions, including: Ms. Ly Thi Mai, alley 687, Ba Trieu street, Dong Kinh ward, sister of martyr Ly Truong Chinh who died in the resistance war against the US in 1971; Mr. Nguyen Tuan Khanh, alley 97, Tran Quang Khai block, Chi Lang ward, a war invalid infected with toxic chemicals in the resistance war against the US in 1972; Ms. Ngo Chinh Cong, block 3, Vinh Trai ward, wife of martyr Chu Viet Huynh; Ms. Le Minh Hien, block 6, Hoang Van Thu ward, wife of martyr Ngo The Lan who died in the resistance war against the US in 1969 and Mr. Hoang Quang Minh, block 8, Tam Thanh ward, a war invalid infected with Agent Orange in the resistance war against the US.
At the families, the representatives of the Provincial Youth Union kindly asked about the health and life of the families and expressed their deep gratitude for the great sacrifices and contributions of the heroic martyrs, war invalids and families of those who have contributed to the cause of national liberation and unification. At the same time, they hoped that the families would continue to promote their traditions and be exemplary in their daily life in the block, be a shining example for their children and the younger generation to follow, and strictly abide by the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws.
This is a meaningful activity, demonstrating the good morality of "When drinking water, remember its source" and "Repaying gratitude" of our nation, to show gratitude to previous generations, contributing to increasingly better care for the material and spiritual life of policy families.
