Provincial Party Committee approves Action Program to implement Resolution of Central Conference 8

(Baoquangngai.vn) - On the morning of January 2, the Provincial Party Standing Committee convened a meeting of the Provincial Party Executive Committee (an irregular meeting) to give opinions and approve important contents.

Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Bui Thi Quynh Van; Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Dang Ngoc Huy; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dang Van Minh and Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Dinh Thi Hong Minh chaired the conference.

At the conference, delegates listened to the report on the review results of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and individual members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee in 2023; discussed, self-assessed and voted on the classification of the Provincial Party Committee in 2023.

In the spirit of democratic and objective discussion, the Provincial Party Committee members attending the conference unanimously proposed that the Central Committee classify the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee as "Excellently completing its tasks in 2023".

The Provincial Party Executive Committee discussed and highly agreed to issue the Provincial Party Committee's Action Programs to implement the Resolutions of the 8th Central Conference, Session XIII, on: Continuing to innovate and improve the quality of social policies, meeting the requirements of the cause of building and defending the Fatherland in the new period; Continuing to promote the tradition and strength of great national unity, building our country to be increasingly prosperous and happy; Continuing to build and promote the role of the intellectual team to meet the requirements of rapid and sustainable national development in the new period; Strategy for defending the Fatherland in the new situation.

In her closing speech at the conference, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Bui Thi Quynh Van highly appreciated the spirit and responsibility of the delegates attending the conference. The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee assigned the Provincial Party Committee Office to coordinate with relevant agencies to receive the delegates' comments, supplement and complete the Provincial Party Committee's Action Programs for promulgation and implementation, and soon bring the Party's resolutions into life.

On the basis of the issued Action Programs, it is recommended that agencies and units assigned with implementation tasks closely follow the Action Programs to develop programs, plans, and organize implementation suitable for their localities and units.

Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Bui Thi Quynh Van delivered the closing speech at the conference.

The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized that in the coming time, the workload is very large and the requirements are very high and urgent, requiring the entire Party Committee and the political system of the province to concentrate highly, make every effort, and be highly determined to lead and organize the implementation with results in practice. After this conference, we must immediately start leading, directing and implementing the political tasks for 2024 set out by the 14th Provincial Party Conference.

The Provincial Party Secretary believes that with new confidence, new spirit, new motivation, the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in the province will continue to unite, strive with determination and great efforts to successfully complete the set goals and political tasks for 2024 and excellently complete the tasks of the entire 2020 - 2025 term.
