(GLO)- Gia Lai Provincial Social Insurance (VSI) has just developed a plan to organize communication activities on the occasion of Vietnam Health Insurance Day (VHI) July 1. The implementation period will be in the last 6 months of 2023, focusing from the end of June to the end of July 2023, and will be implemented throughout Gia Lai province.
The peak communication campaign aims to widely propagate and raise public awareness of the pivotal role of health insurance policy in the social security system of the Party and State; strengthen the role and responsibility of departments, branches, socio- political organizations, local Party committees and authorities, and resolutely implement health insurance policies and laws, towards the roadmap for universal health insurance in the province.

Communication activities will be diversified in content and communication forms to strongly spread the meaning, role, benefits, humanity and profound humanity of the health insurance policy and law; thereby, maintaining the achieved results and developing and expanding the coverage of health insurance in the province. In addition, through communication, mobilize the cooperation and participation of local Party committees, authorities, philanthropists, support the contribution level, support the purchase of health insurance cards for people in difficult circumstances who do not have the conditions to participate in health insurance.
It is known that up to now, the number of people participating in health insurance in Gia Lai is 1,287,943 people, reaching 93.6% of the plan, an increase of 5% over the same period last year and accounting for 87% of the province's population.
