As a festival activity taking place at Tran Temple Festival (Tien Duc Commune, Hung Ha District), on the morning of February 25 (January 16, Giap Thin Year), Tien Duc Commune organized a fire-pulling competition to cook rice.

Members coordinate smoothly in each step of moving and cooking.

The competition has the participation of 8 teams, each team has 5 members from villages in Tien Duc commune. Participating in the competition, members of each team must coordinate well: 2 members carry the pole containing the pot with rice and water, walk around the competition venue, 2 members are in charge of keeping the fire, adjusting the flame. Within 30 minutes, the pot of rice with enough steam, evenly cooked rice, not dry, not mushy, beautifully presented on the plate, clean will be awarded high prizes.

The rice is cooked while the members of each team are constantly moving.

Once cooked, the rice is brought to the table for the judges to judge.

The organizers awarded prizes to the teams participating in the competition.

The traditional fire-making and rice-cooking competition created a joyful and exciting atmosphere in the festival, while recreating the reality of improvisation of our army and people in the resistance wars against foreign invaders and to protect the Fatherland.

At the end of the competition, the organizers awarded prizes to the best teams.
