Organizing Can Tho River Culture Festival

On October 23, the People's Committee of Can Tho city issued a plan to organize the Can Tho River Culture Festival in 2025 with the theme "Can Tho - Colors of Rivers".

According to the People's Committee of Can Tho City, the purpose of the program is to create a cultural and tourist highlight, practically welcoming the new year 2026, contributing to creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere, improving the cultural and spiritual life of the people. Introduce and promote the cultural characteristics of the Mekong Delta in general and Can Tho City in particular.

This is also an opportunity for the city to create a tourism spillover, contributing to the development of other economic sectors, contributing to the overall socio-economic development of the city. The festival is expected to take place from December 27, 2025 to January 1, 2026. The venue is Song Hau Park (Cai Khe Ward), Ben Ninh Kieu Park (Ninh Kieu Ward) and neighboring areas.
