Organizing the Vietnam International Music and Arts Festival

The Vietnam International Music & Arts Festival (VIMAF) will be held across Vietnam and Southeast Asia, providing a professional art playground for the young generation of Vietnamese artists and artistic talents across the region.

VIMAF 2025 is organized by the Vietnam Cultural Industry Development Association (VCIDA), coordinated by the Vietnam Institute of Art Education (VIA Education) in collaboration with the communications and events department of VCIDA, Ho Chi Minh City branch, and accompanied by professional advice from the Soul Institute of Arts (SIA).

According to the organizers, VIMAF is not only an art festival but also a journey of comprehensive connection, where music , performing arts, creative education intersect with the spirit of international integration.

"We hope this festival will mark a new milestone for Vietnam's cultural industry. Opening the door of opportunity for young Vietnamese artists to access international standards and be heard right at home. Creating a meeting point connecting all of Southeast Asia, where young talents can exchange, learn and develop together. At the same time, contributing to making Vietnam a new art destination in Asia, with a unique identity and a spirit of deep integration", Mr. Pham Minh Toan - representative of the organizing committee emphasized.

Musician Thanh Bui, founder of Soul Institute of Arts and a member of the jury, said this is an open playground for everyone. Contestants will compete in music and dance categories, with live performances on stage according to separate criteria for each category and level. The 15 best performances will be selected to perform at the VIMAF 2025 gala night.

Candidates will register from October 30 to November 30. The festival takes place on December 12-13, with the gala night taking place on the evening of December 13 in Ho Chi Minh City. The jury consists of prestigious and experienced domestic and international artists, experts, and educators such as musician Thanh Bui, pianist Adam Gyorgy, artist Nicholas Keyworth, choreographer Dr. Alexander Tu, Sabra Elise Johnson, Do Hai Anh, Bui Trieu Yen, Meritorious Artist Pham Khanh Ngoc... In addition to the music and dance categories, VIMAF 2025 also offers a series of experiential activities such as workshops with international artists, cultural exchanges, contemporary art, and cultural exploration experiences in Ho Chi Minh City.
