Having worked in the Fiber Department for nearly 20 years, Mr. Phan Van Nam is one of the workers with the most experience in operating machinery and equipment in the factory. When he first started working, like many other workers, he was thoroughly trained in operating machinery and ensuring safety procedures. The working process helped him accumulate skills, understand the characteristics of each type of equipment and gradually master the job. After only 2 years, he demonstrated his outstanding ability in operating machines, contributing to improving productivity and product quality. In 2008, he was trusted by the leadership to be appointed as Head of the Fiber Department Operation Team and has held this responsibility until now.

The yarn production machine is the first step in the company's tarpaulin and plastic packaging production chain. Each machine consists of 8 workers who undertake different tasks such as grinding, melting plastic pellets, spinning, programming, and supervising the line. Currently, Mr. Nam manages 4 machines with about 30 workers. As a team leader, he is always exemplary, has a firm grasp of techniques, manages work scientifically , and ensures stable production, high productivity, and absolute safety.

In 2024, the production team under his charge maintained 310/310 working days, no unauthorised leave, ensuring work progress and quality. He and his team effectively operated the production lines, optimized the process, controlled input materials well, and flexibly worked overtime during peak periods to complete orders on time. As a result, the team's total output in 2024 reached 4,602 tons of products, exceeding 16.5% compared to 2023. In the first 6 months of 2025, the output reached 2,400 tons of products; the rate of products meeting export standards reached 99.26%, scrap decreased from 0.8% to 0.74%, helping to save significant raw materials and costs for the business.

Not only doing well in operations, Mr. Phan Van Nam also actively participates in technical innovation initiatives. Typically, in 2024, he and his colleagues researched and successfully manufactured a roller removal tool, helping to shorten the time to change the yarn roller by 50%. This initiative not only increases productivity but also saves hundreds of millions of VND in costs for the company.

As the person directly operating the machine and managing the production team, Mr. Phan Van Nam always strictly follows the labor regulations, especially the regulations on labor safety and hygiene. He uses full protective equipment, follows the correct procedures, and does not let any incidents happen. At the same time, he regularly reminds and checks on the team members, maintains strict labor discipline and builds a safe and effective working environment.

In addition to his professional work, Mr. Nam also actively supports and trains new workers. He has directly guided dozens of workers to become familiar with machines, master operating procedures and troubleshooting skills. Not only imparting knowledge, he also shares practical experiences, encouraging solidarity and mutual support in the team, thereby contributing to improving skills and minimizing risks in production.
