Today, March 14, in Dong Ha City, the Women's Union of Dong Ha City (Quang Tri) in collaboration with the Women's Union of Hoi An City ( Quang Nam ) organized a seminar to share experiences in improving the quality of union activities for grassroots union officials and learning about women's economic development startup models.
With the motto "Where there are women, there are association activities", Dong Ha City Women's Union and Hoi An City Women's Union have many good models and effective ways to mobilize and attract female members to participate.

Along with the comprehensive implementation of the movements launched and organized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, the Women's Union of Dong Ha City and Hoi An City shared good models and creative ways of each locality in building urban civilization, supporting women to start businesses to develop the economy, supporting women's livelihoods, building women of the new era to integrate and develop.
The Women's Union of Dong Ha City has many good models contributing to the construction of urban civilization such as: "Civilized alleys without garbage", "Green house" collecting and classifying waste, turning waste into money, turning waste into health insurance cards to support the poor; "Friendship fund" to visit each other when sick or deceased; supporting the livelihood of poor and near-poor women and social security activities organized by the Women's Union, mobilizing over 3 billion VND each year...
Hoi An City has had no poor households since 2017, so the activities of the Women's Union focus on supporting near-poor female members and building new-age women who are humane, gentle, green, act beautifully, and behave civilly to develop the tourist city.
Hoi An City Women also have a model of "Green House" that does not use plastic bags, collects waste and turns it into money to buy health insurance cards for the poor to help other districts; supports livelihoods and gives gifts at the zero-dong market, averaging from 500 million to 1 billion VND per year via bank cards for women to buy gifts without using cash; supports women to start businesses with local OCOP products, promotes tourism development. These are valuable experiences for the Women's Unions of the two localities to learn and replicate, thereby attracting and gathering members, building a strong and sustainable association in the coming time.
On this occasion, the Women's Union of Hoi An City presented 10 gifts to policy families in Dong Ha City and visited and studied the noodle production startup model of Ms. Le Thi Y Nhi, residing in Dai Ang quarter, Dong Luong ward, Dong Ha City.
