Seminar on improving the quality of social criticism

On the afternoon of July 5, in Hoi An city, the Central Highlands and Central Coastal Provinces’ Fronts held a seminar on “Promoting the role, improving the quality and effectiveness of the supervision and social criticism work of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the current period”. At the same time, they reviewed the activities of the first 6 months of the year and deployed tasks for the remaining months of 2024.

The report for the first 6 months of 2024 shows that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the cluster and member organizations closely followed the local political tasks, developed, implemented and successfully completed the coordination and unified action program for 2024. In particular, focusing on the preparation and organization of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress at the commune and district levels to launch emulation movements; proactively and actively preparing to organize the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress at the provincial level, term 2024 - 2029.

At the same time, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the cluster continue to promote their core political role in participating in building and rectifying the Party and a strong political system; innovate and improve the effectiveness of propaganda, mobilization, gathering and uniting people of all walks of life; promote campaigns and emulation movements; proactively implement and successfully complete the proposed work program.

At the seminar on “Promoting the role, improving the quality and effectiveness of the supervision and social criticism work of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the current period”, local leaders mentioned the proactiveness, effective and practical methods of supervision and social criticism, focusing on practical experiences and providing solutions, directly related to the legitimate and legal rights and interests of the people and the concerned and concerned public opinion.

This is decisive in promoting mastery, gaining people's consensus in the work of building and rectifying the Party and the increasingly strong political system, strengthening the great national unity bloc, and successfully implementing the socio -economic development goals of the locality.
