Exchange program with Colonel Le Trong Nghia, former Deputy Commander of Politics of Can Tho Provincial Military Command, Former Deputy Director of Politics of Military Region 9; Ms. Truong Hong Hoa, former Standing Member of Can Tho Provincial Women's Union, Vice President of Can Tho City Resistance Prisoners Association and Ms. Huynh Thi Kien, a typical former female revolutionary prisoner.
The seminar is an activity to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, and is also an opportunity for women and young people in Can Tho to meet and listen to the aunts and uncles who are historical witnesses to review the heroic tradition of the Can Tho women's movement in the resistance war against the US to save the country. Thereby, propagating andeducating the patriotic tradition and indomitable spirit of Vietnamese women in general, and women in Can Tho City in particular; promoting the movement of studying and learning about history in the community, arousing pride and promoting the heroic revolutionary tradition, expressing gratitude for the great contributions of generations of women to the Vietnamese revolutionary cause.
On this occasion, the City Women's Union awarded the prize for the Contest to learn about the life and career of Female General Nguyen Thi Dinh. The contest was organized by the Union in the form of online to all cadres, members, women and people living, studying and working in the city (from March 15, 2025 to April 10, 2025). As a result, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh An - the Women's Union of Co Do district, won the first prize.
