Panorama of the parade rehearsal to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory

On the morning of April 17, at the National Military Training Center 4 (Dong Tam commune, My Duc district, Hanoi), a general rehearsal for the parade and march took place in celebration of the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory.

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong, Chief of the General Staff and Deputy Minister of National Defense , chaired the general rehearsal of the military parade to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory.

Today's parade rehearsal is to prepare well for the parade ceremony that will be held on the morning of May 7, 2024 after the rally at Dien Bien Provincial Stadium, according to Decision No. 821/QD-BQP, dated March 3, 2024 of the Ministry of National Defense on approving the Project to organize a parade to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024).

Participating in the parade will be 4 forces including: Artillery force, Air Force flying salute, parade force, and force standing on the field, more than 12,000 people.

The highlight of the parade was the participation of the Artillery Force including 18 105mm howitzers and 12 helicopters flying over the Air Force stands.

The parade is the highlight of the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu victory, an important event of the entire Party, people and army to widely propagate and educate about the significance, stature and historical value of the victory "Resounding throughout five continents, shaking the earth".
