General Secretary To Lam attends Vietnam - Russia Business Forum

According to VNA special correspondent, at noon on May 11 (local time), in Moscow, the Vietnamese Ministry of Finance, the Russian Ministry of Economic Development, and the Vietnamese Embassy in the Russian Federation organized the Vietnam - Russian Federation Business Forum.

Attending the forum were General Secretary To Lam , Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko, and a number of high-ranking Vietnamese delegates, Vietnamese Ambassador to the Russian Federation Dang Minh Khoi; representatives of leaders of a number of ministries, branches, localities and many businesses of the two countries.

Speaking at the Forum, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko emphasized that Russia and Vietnam are two countries with traditional friendship, a long history and great economic potential. The two sides have potential for cooperation in many areas: from innovative technology and digital solutions for traditional industries to energy and agriculture.

Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko said the main goal of bilateral cooperation between Vietnam and the Russian Federation is to develop specific projects and implement mutual investments that bring about substantial results. Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko hopes that both sides will continue to create a favorable environment for the activities of Russian and Vietnamese companies investing in each other's markets.
Speaking at the Forum, General Secretary To Lam congratulated Russia on successfully and solemnly organizing the Victory Day celebration and affirmed that this is a particularly important event that will forever go down in human history. The General Secretary said that at the meetings with senior Russian leaders, the two sides continued to affirm that the traditional relationship between the two countries will be renewed to meet the requirements of the new situation, contributing to bringing practical benefits to the people of the two countries, and actively contributing to the development of the region and the world.

The General Secretary stressed that businesses from both sides promoting cooperation play an important role in implementing high-level agreements on socio-economic development. The two sides have important pillars of cooperation in energy, industry, science and technology, and human resource training.

General Secretary To Lam hopes to quickly increase bilateral trade turnover to match the potential strengths of the two countries. Therefore, the responsibility of businesses of the two countries is very large. The General Secretary hopes that through this Forum, many cooperation agreements between businesses of the two countries will be signed to take advantage of the strengths of each country, contributing to sustainable development in the coming time.

General Secretary To Lam suggested that the two sides continue to strengthen and promote economic-trade and investment cooperation; transport cooperation; promote e-commerce, and promote labor cooperation in the context of Russia's high demand; and hope that Russia will create conditions for Vietnamese postgraduates to participate in research in areas where Russia has strengths such as nuclear and fundamental physics. The General Secretary affirmed that Vietnam will create all favorable conditions for foreign enterprises to invest in Vietnam, including enterprises of the Russian Federation.

On this occasion, a number of senior leaders of the two countries performed the ceremony of pressing the button to inaugurate the TH Fresh Milk Processing Factory in Kaluga Province, Russian Federation. This event marked a new sustainable step forward in the TH High-Tech Dairy Farming and Milk Processing Complex Project in the Russian Federation. The inauguration ceremony was held online, from the Moscow bridge connecting to the bridge at the Factory (Kuluga Province). Immediately after the ceremony of pressing the button to inaugurate, the production lines of the TH Fresh Milk Processing Factory officially operated.

The inauguration ceremony of TH Fresh Milk Processing Plant in Kaluga took place in a meaningful context and time: Vietnam and the Russian Federation celebrated the 75th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations, strengthening political trust. Leaders of the two countries together determined the orientations to bring the traditional friendship and comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and Russia to new heights.

TH fresh milk processing factory in Kaluga is built on an area of ​​nearly 15 hectares in the Industrial Park of the special economic zone “Kaluga”, in Borovsk district, Kaluga province, about 100 km from Moscow. The factory has a capacity of 1,000 tons/day, of which phase 1 is 500 tons/day. The factory uses raw materials processed entirely from top quality fresh milk from TH high-tech farms in Moscow and Kaluga provinces.

At the Forum, 7 Cooperation Agreements were signed in the presence of senior leaders of the two countries, including:

Memorandum of Understanding between the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences and the Russian Historical Society on cooperation in the field of research and preservation of Vietnamese and Russian history.

Cooperation agreement between the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations and the Russian Association for International Cooperation on cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, science, culture, education, humanities, sports, tourism and people-to-people exchange to further develop the traditional friendship and cooperation between the people of Vietnam and the Russian Federation.
Cooperation agreement between the Vietnam - Russian Federation Friendship Association and the Russia - Vietnam Friendship Association for the period 2025-2030.

Memorandum of Understanding between Vinpearl and 4 Russian partners: LTD Anex Tourism, Coral Travel, One Click Travel Company, FUN & SUN, on strategic cooperation in the period of 2025-2026 to coordinate the promotion of Vietnam's tourist destinations and Vinpearl products.

Memorandum of Understanding between Saigon Tourist Corporation and Vietnam Airlines with two Russian partners: Ammarus Tour and Russia Union of Fairs and Congress on cooperation in developing two-way transportation, aviation, cruise tourism, travel, hotel and exhibition services between Vietnam and Russia in the period of 2025 - 2030.

Memorandum of Understanding between Shinec Vietnam Joint Stock Company and RK Complex Systems LLC of the Russian Federation on the platform for connecting trade, finance, investment, logistics, resources, and energy between the Russian Federation and Vietnam.

Memorandum of Understanding between the Vietnam Association for Research and Application of Biomedical Technology and the NMRC of Oncology Medical Complex on cooperation in applying modern biomedical technology and Vietnamese traditional medicine with the pilot project to restore Russian folk medicine./.
