The General Secretary stressed that the world is witnessing remarkable developments in science and technology, especially when AI has become a key driving force for economic growth and innovation. Vietnam has also identified science, technology and digital transformation as the leading breakthroughs for rapid, sustainable development and advancement in the global value chain.
Therefore, Vietnam wishes to accompany advanced countries to share common visions and values, thereby building a better world where AI serves humanity, promoting creativity, humanity, peace and prosperity. The General Secretary emphasized that Vietnam is ready to welcome and test pioneering ideas.
Many technology experts praise Vietnam’s dynamic development. In just one generation, Vietnam has lifted millions out of poverty, built one of Asia’s most competitive manufacturing economies, and has a young, digitally skilled workforce.
In particular, Vietnam's progress in administrative reform and openness in international cooperation have positioned Vietnam to become a key partner in the global network of trusted digital nations.
Some opinions also recommend that, in order for AI to truly serve the socio-economic development process to bring a better life to people, governments need to focus on building reliable digital infrastructure, developing responsible AI standards that protect privacy, fairness and transparency...
Concluding the discussion, General Secretary To Lam expressed his impression of the issues and ideas presented by experts and managers with extensive experience in the field of AI, and said that the solutions and recommendations presented are very suitable for Vietnam's development orientation and goals. The General Secretary said that he will assign the relevant agencies to research and coordinate to clarify the content, and move towards implementing specific steps to turn ideas into projects and programs in Vietnam.

The General Secretary emphasized that the seminar is a meaningful first step and will open a journey of long-term and profound cooperation between Vietnam and the intellectuals and elites of the UK and the world.
The General Secretary hopes that in the coming time, experts will continue to accompany and support Vietnam in developing AI in particular and science and technology in general, especially in three priority areas including sharing knowledge and experience in planning national AI strategies, developing digital infrastructure and innovation ecosystems; promoting investment and technology transfer, applying AI in key areas such as healthcare, smart agriculture and digital education; and working with Vietnam to successfully implement key programs on science and technology, especially new and pioneering fields to help Vietnam build a creative and self-reliant economy.
General Secretary To Lam respectfully invited experts and scientists with extensive experience in the fields of science, technology and AI to Vietnam to have more time to exchange and work directly with agencies that plan and implement science and technology policies in Vietnam in order to soon turn the ideas discussed in the seminar into reality, bringing many new values, new models and new beliefs to humanity in the AI era.
