General Secretary To Lam visited Vietnamese Heroic Mother Le Thi Sau, 102 years old, residing in block 13, Ben Thuy ward, Vinh city (Nghe An).
Sau's mother had 3 sons, of which 2 sons: Le Huy Minh and Le Huy Truong were martyrs, who died at a very young age, without getting married. The youngest son, Le Huy Thang, passed away in October 2024.
Martyr Le Huy Minh was born in 1946, held the position of Captain of Regiment 146, and died on July 11, 1972 in the 81-day and night campaign at Quang Tri Citadel.
Martyr Le Huy Truong was born on September 25, 1947, held the position of Squad Leader of the militia on duty in Hung Thuy commune, and died on June 9, 1965 while rescuing wounded soldiers on our navy ship at Ben Thuy port, which was bombed by American planes.

Sau's mother's husband, Mr. Le Huy Chinh, born in 1922, participated in the Dien Bien Phu campaign. After returning from the army, he changed jobs to work as a worker at the Ben Thuy Match Factory, then changed jobs to work as a dispatcher at Ben Thuy port and passed away in 2000. Mr. Le Huy Chinh was a party member and was awarded the 30-year Party membership badge.
Currently, Vietnamese Heroic Mother Le Thi Sau is living with her daughter-in-law, Nguyen Thi Hue. Her eldest grandson, Le Huy Nghia, born in 1976, is currently the Chief of Staff of the Hue City Military Command.

General Secretary To Lam warmly visited, expressed his affection and joy that Vietnamese Heroic Mother Le Thi Sau is still healthy and clear-minded; at the same time expressed deep gratitude for the great sacrifices and contributions of her and her family during the country's resistance wars and in peacetime.
Presenting gifts to mother Le Thi Sau, General Secretary To Lam wished her continued good health, a long life, and the ability to gather with her children and grandchildren to witness the development of the country and family; and at the same time hoped that she would encourage her children and grandchildren in the family to continue and promote the family tradition, worthy of the tradition of Uncle Ho's soldiers.

The General Secretary emphasized that it is the responsibility of the Party, State, Party committees and local authorities at all levels to care for the material and spiritual lives of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, policy beneficiaries, and families with meritorious services to the revolution and the country.
Heroic Vietnamese Mother Le Thi Sau expressed her emotions and deep gratitude for the Party and State's attention and care for her life; at the same time, she thanked General Secretary To Lam for visiting, giving gifts and wishing her good health.

Heroic Vietnamese Mother Le Thi Sau wished General Secretary To Lam and the comrades in the Central and Nghe An province delegation good health, and together with the Party Central Committee, Politburo, and Secretariat, to lead the entire Party, army, and people to continue to gain many victories, bringing the country into an era of rising up to develop richly, strongly, and prosperously.
