VOV General Director Do Tien Sy received Heads of Vietnamese representative agencies abroad

VOV.VN - On the morning of October 30, at the National Broadcasting Center 58 Quan Su, Hanoi, Central Party Committee member and General Director of the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) Do Tien Sy received the Heads of the Vietnamese representative agencies abroad led by Vietnamese Ambassador to China Pham Thanh Binh, who came to visit and work.

Speaking at the reception for the Heads of Vietnamese representative agencies abroad, VOV General Director Do Tien Sy emphasized that ambassadors and consuls general are those who carry the mission of the Party, the State and the people in foreign affairs, and are bridges with Vietnamese people abroad. Recalling the "bamboo diplomacy " policy of the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and the affirmation that "Vietnam is entering an era of growth" of General Secretary To Lam, Mr. Do Tien Sy hopes that VOV will continue to play the role of an information bridge with friends around the world, through the various forms of media of VOV.

"Those working in communications and foreign affairs are two important forces that contribute to building and protecting the Fatherland early and from afar. Through this, I also hope that the heads of Vietnamese representative agencies abroad will continue to support VOV's permanent offices in other countries, and help VOV's reporter groups write news and articles in other countries," said Mr. Do Tien Si.

Mr. Do Tien Si emphasized that VOV is the first press agency to implement the "Era of Rising" program series with two implementation phases, aiming at the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 2030) and preparing for the 14th National Congress of the Party. In the process of developing the program series, the VOV General Director expressed his hope that Vietnamese representative agencies abroad would continue to cooperate and support VOV to promptly update the spirit of the times and international trends that are beneficial to Vietnam, creating a great influence for the "era of rising".

For his part, Mr. Pham Thanh Binh sincerely thanked VOV for its support in foreign propaganda work; emphasizing that the foreign affairs achievements in recent times have been accompanied and supported by press agencies, especially VOV. In the context of many fluctuations in the world and regional situation, Ambassador Pham Thanh Binh also hopes that the two sides will continue to further promote cooperation, VOV will continue to create conditions for Vietnamese representative agencies to excellently complete their tasks abroad, contributing to bringing the country into the "era of rising up".

At the meeting, the two sides also agreed to implement foreign information plans to widely promote the image of Vietnam and its people to the world, as well as expand cooperation with foreign partners in the fields of radio and television.
