The model was deployed at Mr. Nguyen Van Tam's household, residing in Vinh Nhuan hamlet, Vinh Hanh commune, with a scale of 5 hectares, sown on July 27, 2025 using drones, harvested on November 6, 2025. The model uses OM 5451 variety, sowing density of 80 kg/ha, using drones in sowing, fertilizing, spraying; applying irrigation techniques using the alternating flooding and drying method. At the same time, applying balanced fertilization techniques, fertilizing at the right time and using leaf color comparison charts to determine the nutritional needs of rice plants.

After the implementation period, the amount of fertilizer applied in the model field was 97 kg/ha lower than the control field; the rice grew and developed well, and the incidence of pests and diseases was mild. In terms of economic efficiency, the total cost of the field in the model was about 23,528 million VND/ha, 2,769 million VND/ha lower than the control field. With a selling price of 5,200 VND/kg, the profit of the model field reached 18,072 million VND/ha, 4,85 million VND/ha higher than the control field.
During the workshop, farmers highly appreciated the effectiveness of the model using drones throughout the production process from sowing to harvesting, helping to save time and not be affected by the weather. The density of rice sowing and spraying fertilizers and pesticides is more uniform, saving chemicals, reducing pesticide residues in water sources, protecting farmers' health and contributing to reducing environmental pollution.
The model can be replicated and contribute to the successful implementation of the Project on sustainable development of 1 million hectares of high-quality and low-emission rice cultivation, associated with green growth in the Mekong Delta region by 2030 in Vinh Hanh commune in the coming time.
