US President Donald Trump's attendance at the men's singles final of the 2025 US Open tennis tournament in the early morning of September 8 caused many people to queue so long that they missed the match.

Forty-five minutes before the final between Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner began, US President Donald Trump was escorted by security forces to Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, the world's largest tennis venue with a capacity of nearly 24,000 people.

His appearance prompted long lines for fans to wait through security. The Secret Service and other federal security agents checked bags and directed fans through metal detectors. The game was then delayed by nearly 30 minutes.
