"I was impressed when I heard you pronounce Korean correctly. As the leader of the Republic of Korea, I feel even more responsible for promoting relations between the two countries, especially in educating the younger generation about the relationship between the two countries," President Yoon Suk Yeol shared.

President Yoon Suk Yeol and his wife listened to a speech in Korean about the dreams and future of young people who are students at all three levels, university students, and working people studying Korean. The President sent words of encouragement to them.

The President and First Lady also heard diverse and vivid stories from students, such as a high school student who wants to study abroad in Korea to become an artificial intelligence developer, a Korean language major who dreams of becoming an interpreter. Or the story of an employee working in an IT company who was accepted into the Korean Government Scholarship program this year. There was also the story of a young person who studied Korean at King Sejong Institute, then went to work for a Korean company.

Cao Quyet Thang, a second-year student of the Korean Language Department at Hanoi National University, shared that Korean has given him the dream of studying abroad in Korea and becoming an interpreter in the future. All of this shows the popularity of Korean in Vietnam.

After listening to the sharing, the wife of the President of the Republic of Korea, Kim Keon-hee, said that she highly appreciated the ability of Vietnamese students to use Korean. "Not only are they good at Korean, but the feelings and content shared are similar to those of Korean people, so I feel very close," Ms. Kim Keon-hee expressed.

On the same day, President Yoon Suk Yeol met with 300 people, representatives of the Korean community, including coach Park Hang-seo, former head coach of the Vietnam national football team. Mr. Yoon Suk Yeol also assessed that Vietnam is the country with the largest Korean community in ASEAN, with more than 170,000 people.
