Train tour "Connecting Central Heritage" honored

The train "Connecting Central Heritage" of Vietnam Railways Corporation (VNR) was voted to be the top in the category of impressive activities and services at the program "Top 9 impressive tourism products of Hue 2024".

The program "Top 9 impressive tourism products of Hue 2024" was launched from July 2024, aiming to find reputable, new, attractive tourist attractions, products and services..., contributing to promoting and developing tourism in Thua Thien - Hue province.

After more than 3 months of launching and implementing, the program has had a strong influence, attracting more than 250 nominations and receiving great attention from the public, with 45,668 votes.

Based on the voting results from readers and careful evaluation from the organizing committee, 54 products and services representing 6 categories were voted, including: 9 impressive check-in points, 9 impressive accommodation facilities, 9 impressive culinary service points, 9 impressive tea shops - cafes - bars, 9 impressive Hue culinary dishes - specialties and 9 impressive experiential activities - services.

In which, the train "Connecting Central Heritage" of Vietnam Railways leads the vote for category 9 impressive activities - services.

The “Connecting Central Heritage” journey is a new product, put into operation by VNR from March 26, on the occasion of the 49th anniversary of the liberation of Thua Thien - Hue. This is one of the new products, combining transportation business and exploiting tourism, history, culture, and heritage services, that the Railway industry is implementing.

With a travel time of about 3 hours, the train will take visitors through Hai Van Pass, known as "The most majestic pass in the world" to Da Nang city, which owns a long coastline honored as one of the six most beautiful beaches on the planet. In the opposite direction (Da Nang - Hue), visitors will set foot on the heritage land of the ancient capital of Hue.

With many unique and interesting experiences such as: Music, Ao Dai performance, regional cuisine, the ship has attracted a large number of domestic and international tourists. Since its operation, the ship "Connecting Central Heritage" has welcomed nearly 170,000 passengers.
