Toyota bZ5 launched - Electric Coupe hybrid SUV from 465 million VND

At the Shanghai Auto Show 2025, Toyota introduced a completely new electric SUV Coupe called the new bZ5. The car has a selling price in China of 465 - 573 million VND.

The new Toyota bZ5 2025 is a collaboration between Japan and China under the Toyota - FAW joint venture. With a beautiful SUV Coupe design and Toyota's new youthful design language, the Toyota bZ5 is receiving great attention from customers in China, where there is fierce competition in electric vehicles.

Specifically, Toyota bZ5 makes a strong impression with its modern and technological SUV Coupe style. The car has a length of 4,780 mm, a width of 1,866 mm, a height of 1,510 mm and a wheelbase of 2,880 mm.

Compared to models of the same brand such as Corolla Cross or Fortuner, the Toyota bZ5 electric SUV has a length close to Fortuner but the coupe design makes the cabin space lower and more compact, creating a sporty and modern feel.

Inside, the electric Toyota bZ5 stands out with a large vertical central touch screen, along with a rather impressive floating clock screen.

Powering the bZ5 is a single electric motor with a maximum output of 272 horsepower, driving the front wheels. The battery uses LFP lithium-ion technology, allowing the car to travel a distance of 510 to 600 km according to the NEDC rating standard.

According to Toyota, this is a level of performance sufficient to serve both daily commuting needs and long trips, while demonstrating Toyota's sustainable development orientation in zero-emission products.

Currently, the price of the Toyota bZ5 2025 has been announced and has begun accepting pre-orders in China. The estimated price ranges from 130,000 to 160,000 yuan, equivalent to about 460 to 570 million VND.

The 2025 Toyota bZ5 is considered to have a competitive price in the mid-size electric SUV segment and is a strategic move to test market reactions before the official commercial release, expected to take place in June 2025.
