Yamaha launches Jog 125 scooter, super light, super fuel efficient

Yamaha in Japan has just announced a new product update – the Yamaha Jog 125 2025, a super fuel-efficient mini scooter for the Japanese market.

The current Yamaha Jog 125 scooter model was first launched in Japan in 2022, sold alongside the Yamaha Jog 50, using exactly the same body design, differing only in the engine.

With the new Yamaha Jog 125 2025 version just launched, this scooter model is only updated with new colors, the equipment is almost unchanged.

Yamaha's new generation scooter model still retains its characteristic compact design with overall dimensions of only 1,740mm x 675mm x 1,090mm and a weight of only 95kg.

Yamaha Jog 125 2025 is super light compared to scooters with the same engine capacity. Instead of modern equipment, the equipment on Yamaha Jog 125 is still basic with an analog clock cluster.

The vehicle has a spacious footrest and a convenient fuel tank cap located at the front of the vehicle. This design allows the Jog 125 to expand the trunk capacity up to 21.3 liters.

The trunk of the Yamaha Jog 125 2025 can also hold a 2/3 helmet. In addition, the vehicle is also equipped with a convenient USB charging port for mobile devices.

In terms of power, the Yamaha Jog 125 is equipped with a 125cc, 1-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled engine, producing a maximum capacity of 8.3 horsepower at 7,000 rpm.

With a maximum torque of 9.8 Nm at 6,000 rpm. Equipped with electronic fuel injection, the vehicle is very fuel-efficient, reaching 57.7 km/liter of gasoline. In the Japanese market, this is considered a compact scooter model used by many people.

With the 2025 version, the vehicle has 2 more colors, Dull Blue Solid B and Vivid Red Metallic 5, which will be sold along with the two current colors, Black Metallic X and White Metallic 1. The price of the 2025 Yamaha Jog 125 (including tax) is 267,300 yen, equivalent to about 48.3 million VND.
