The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has just reported to the Prime Minister on preparations for activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

Accordingly, regarding the celebration, parade, and march in Ho Chi Minh City on April 30, the Ministry of National Defense presided over and coordinated with Ho Chi Minh City to survey the situation and unanimously issued an organization plan.

The parade will include 36 groups of armed forces and police, jointly organized by the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security. The next parade will be organized by Ho Chi Minh City with 12 groups of marchers and more than 13,000 participants.

Up to now, Ho Chi Minh City has designed stands with 5,260 seats for delegates, stand A has 1,065 seats, stand B has 1,830 seats, stand C has 2,360 seats, a ceremony stage, a press working area, a standing mass area, two main power stations, a press data processing center, a press house, a medical area, an ambulance, a fire truck, a cluster of mobile toilets and a technical center...

This area has LED screens arranged in an installation format, combining virtual reality technology, video art, 3D... illustrating documentary images and graphics displayed during the parade.

Arrange LED screen systems and loudspeakers on main roads and crowded areas to help people watch the ceremony.

To widely propagate, Ho Chi Minh City will arrange 10 LED screens in the central area of ​​Ho Chi Minh City, 22 LED screens in districts, Thu Duc City and commercial advertising LED screens... Departments, agencies and units are urgently moving and dismantling items to hand over the empty space for installation on April 22.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has submitted to the Standing Secretariat and the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission for comments on the scenario for the "Celebration parade, military parade, and march to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day".

In particular, the first 30-minute art program is performed by Ho Chi Minh City, including trumpet music, gun dance and art program.

The detailed scenario includes the flag salute, 21 rounds of fireworks to the National Anthem; announcement of the reason, introduction of delegates; speeches by Party and State leaders; speeches by representatives of veterans and the young generation of Vietnam; playing the song "The Country is Full of Joy"; military parade, march; releasing balloons and doves.
