Ho Chi Minh City announces 50 teachers and managers to receive Vo Truong Toan awards

On November 4, the Vo Truong Toan Award Council announced the list of 50 managers and teachers to be awarded the 27th award in 2024. This is a traditional award jointly organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training to honor and express gratitude for the contributions of officials and teachers on the occasion of the annual Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20.

Dr. Nguyen Van Hieu, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, presented certificates of merit to officials and teachers who won the Vo Truong Toan Award in 2023.

Accordingly, the teachers considered for the Vo Truong Toan Award are managers and teachers directly teaching at public educational institutions. At each level, a maximum of 10 awards will be given, including 8 teachers and 2 managers.

The list of 50 teachers receiving the Vo Truong Toan Award in 2024 is as follows:

According to the Vo Truong Toan Award Council in 2024, the principles of awarding the award ensure accuracy and objectivity in evaluating and honoring outstanding individuals based on specific criteria; ensure honesty, democracy, publicity, fairness, correct subjects, correct standards through records and evidence.

Each cadre and teacher is only considered for the award once during their working period based on their seniority and contributions to the education and training sector. Thereby, spreading good and creative educational methods and models, creating trust among the school's teaching staff and the love and respect of parents and students.

The 27th Vo Truong Toan Award Ceremony in 2024 is expected to take place on November 18.
