On the afternoon of April 11, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City organized a training course on deploying software to manage extra teaching and learning in Ho Chi Minh City. The management software is deployed at: https://dtht.hcm.edu.vn

According to the HCM City Department of Education and Training, the management system for tutoring and learning activities is decentralized. The Department of Education and Training monitors and manages tutoring and learning activities according to regulations. The People's Committees of localities will manage detailed information of tutoring centers in the area and supervise the activities of the centers, ensuring compliance with regulations.

The tutoring center organizes, registers, monitors and manages tutoring activities according to regulations. Schools monitor and manage information about teachers and students who register for tutoring in the school. Parents monitor information and register for tutoring online.

The Department of Education and Training will provide and manage all administrative accounts of the Department of Education and Training, People's Committees of wards/communes/towns, general schools, and tutoring facilities.

According to Mr. Ho Tan Minh, when wards, communes, districts, and units receive accounts registered in the software, they must assign a manager and take responsibility because this is related to student data.

"In the near future, when arranging administrative units, localities must clearly hand over, the Department of Education and Training will collect and receive the accounts before sending them back to the assigned units in charge," said Mr. Minh.

Mr. Ho Tan Minh, Chief of Office of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, at the training session

The Chief of Office of the HCM City Department of Education and Training added that according to statistics from registrations of teachers at educational institutions, there are currently more than 1,300 tutoring facilities in the area. The Department of Education and Training will coordinate with districts to investigate and update the list.

The Department of Education and Training requires tutoring facilities to publicly disclose the number of students, tuition fees, subjects, and teaching hours for management agencies. From now until the end of April, facilities must register to publicly post information on the system.

According to Mr. Minh, in the condition that the Department of Education and Training as well as localities do not have enough personnel to directly supervise and manage extra teaching and learning activities, the software will be a management tool, publicizing tuition fees, teachers...

Mr. Minh also said that the Department of Education and Training is consulting with departments and education experts on the regulation that after 8:00 p.m., no extra teaching or learning activities can be organized.

Mr. Minh explained that Ho Chi Minh City is often congested during rush hour, so it is necessary to calculate so that students have enough time to eat and travel to tutoring facilities after finishing afternoon classes at school. At the same time, the regulation must also ensure that the tutoring time for students is about 1.5 hours or more.

"Many students have already studied two sessions at school, so extra classes should be completed before 8 p.m. so that they can go home to rest and talk with their parents and grandparents. The Department of Education and Training will continue to collect opinions before submitting to the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee," said Mr. Minh.
