Lien Phuong Road (Binh Trung Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) has its starting point intersecting with The Global City project and its end point connecting to Mai Chi Tho - Vo Nguyen Giap Avenue; including access roads and bridges over Muong Kinh canal, connecting traffic directly to Rach Chiec National Sports Complex. The project has a total length of about 660 m, a design speed of 60 km/h, and a road width of 60 m.
The 6.7 km long Lien Phuong route, connecting from Nguyen Duy Trinh, runs through The Global City, helping to restructure the traffic problem at the eastern gateway.
The new route significantly shortens the distance from Lien Phuong – Do Xuan Hop intersection to Cat Lai intersection, while reducing pressure on An Phu intersection.

When the Lien Phuong route is in operation, residents of Thao Dien area, An Khanh ward will only take about 5 minutes to travel to The Global City and 10 minutes from Thu Thiem or Ben Thanh ward center.
When the infrastructure is synchronized, this route can reduce traffic congestion at An Phu intersection, the section just off the current highway.
On the same day, the first walking program "Joining hands to build a green - civilized - modern - affectionate Binh Trung ward" in 2025 took place at The Global City, attracting nearly 5,000 participants.

Ms. Cao Doan Ngoc Thuy - Vice Chairman of Binh Trung Ward People's Committee - emphasized that this route is of great significance in completing the infrastructure of the Eastern area, contributing to solving the traffic problem for the people. Together with key infrastructure projects such as Ring Road 3, An Phu intersection, Long Thanh international airport, these projects have great significance, making practical contributions to the socio- economic development of the city.
